    Hi Peeps

back from a few days in the carrievan. We were lucky in that when we were out we managed to dodge the rain, and even managed to pack away the awning in the dry. I think DH would have had it strung up all over the house if not! We had the heating on the whole time in the van and have come back and have resorted to putting the gas fire on in the living room. Its sooo cold - flaming june! Have already had a long soak in a hot bath.

Have managed to unload the car and put stuff away and sorted washing so far with 1 load drying in TD and another load in WM.

Had little internet access while away so have only scanned the last couple of pages. Congratulations to piggers on the new grandson - I hope all is ok with such a tiny one. And bossymoo thank you for sharing your bears, they are wonderful. You have been through so much and you have been so inspirational since you have been on here. Thank you.

Well totally non MSE takeaway tea for tonight with a large alchiepop and some more reloading of machines.

    Love to all

    Kazm x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Thanks everyone, glad you liked them. The children adore them. My littlest just took hers, tucked it under her arm and there it stayed for an hour...

Kazwookie, glad you like the plaque, and thanks for the tree advice. I think the nut trees would have been too big, so we chose the acer instead.

Not been in long, deposited children in bed, only jobs for the weekend are laundry and staying on top of things, plus my last challenge which is decluttering spare room, which is actually not that bad. So shouldn't be any trouble.

Going to nursery tomorrow. Is their charity fun day, for their charity of the year. Which is the hospice my husband was in. They suggested it before Christmas, and I thought it was a lovely idea, all their fundraising this year goes to the Sue Ryder homes, in honour of two of their littlies who are missing a daddy. We are going to brave it, and take some things for the table top sale.

    X

Ooh I meant to tell you! Excitement this afternoon as I narrowly averted a doggie disaster.

Been at my aunts for the usual half term kiddy get together. My cousins had brought their dogs. The youngest being quite a ting kc spaniel pup called Rosie. My aunt has a pond, you know what's coming...

I'd asked all the children not to open the doors, it was raining and I didn't want my youngest out in the garden, and my cousin didn't want the pup out.

    Someone left the door open...

I had just changed littlests nappy, so was going to outside bin when I heard a yelping. The gate was open, so I shut that first, praying said pup hadn't snuck out. I followed my ears, and found said pup trying to scrabble out of the side of the pond, but it was trapped under the net (there to protect their fish). Gawd knows how she got under there.

I managed to slip my hand under and grab her by the scruff, then tore the net with the other hand. Poor little mite was yelping but I managed to pull her through. Hate to think what would have happened, don't know how long she could have clung on to the side for but there was no way of her getting out...

The teddies are a wonderful idea, bossy, and I love the tree and plaque. You and your little ones are very brave. Also well done on the rescue mission. My MIL lost her westie like that, in a pool at a campsite. :(

    at aj!

My 2nd HHC in the DR was followed by several more. I even did an impromptu tip run at 4.30 to make a bit more space and was back just in time for DS2's swimming lesson. Made tea and tidied the kitchen. The internet finally seems to be working again, so I've just caught up with various things. Off for another stint in the Dining RoD in a couple of minutes, though.

I can't even cross much off the list because the rest of the family somehow managed to achieve next to nothing. DH picked up a few bits of shopping and put the stuff for the tip in the car for me. DS1 got DS2 ready for me while I was out. :( I'd hoped for more...

Hello flyladies. I think I may be on here in the evenings for a while now the footie has started. I am bored already, DH is actually asleep in front of the telly but I know that should I change channels he will immediately wake up and say that he was watching it with his eyes closed or something similar!!

I haven't done a lot of flying this week but the house is usually tidy now after nearly 6 months following this forum so I won't panic too much.

I don't expect to do much other than dailies next week either as DH and I have some time off work together so will hopefully get out and about if the weather improves.

Have just spent unplanned money on line but I really do need more jeans. See I really can't be trusted and am much better just plonked in front of the telly in the evening or reading a book.

Anyway, I'm waffling now so will say goodnight all.
Spend less now, work less later.

Whereas I have been watching the football and am looking forward to the next 11 nights of 2 matches a night :D:D

Today I cleared out loads of stuff - one biscuit box of stamps, a load of old foreign currency and 3 full charity bags to the charity shop; one charity bag full of foil to church; a box full of glass to the bottle bank and an array of items including an old bike and half used tins of paint to the tip!

End result - my hallway is now clear :j

Also started on the bathroom list.

Operation clear my bedroom continues tomorrow - I feel the end may be in sight!

    List update to follow .........

bossymoo - I love the bears; such a fab idea. I wish I still had a jumper of my brothers. Hope all goes well tomorrow x

pigpen - beautiful teeny baby x
