First Utility, Are They Really That Bad?

I switched to FU two and half months ago. I received notification two weeks ago that at the end of the 3 month period they would be increasing both my gas and electric prices.
Needless to say I'll forgo the meagre cash back I have earned so far when I switch to a cheaper supplier that doesn't quote cashback in the savings on comparison sites.
Had I not found a cheaper supplier I would probably have switched on the principal that they provided me with the least they could get away with for the shortest amount of time.
Ross.

Just switched to First Utility very pleased went on their iSave Fixed Price v2 Expires September 2013 [1Save Fixed Price v2 was removed two weeks ago I just made it]FU was then the cheapest + I get £34 from the comparison site next month + £100 from nPower with their final bill[ nPowers fix price ended for me 31st may]. FU working well for me and after 12 direct debits they also give me £100 as did Atlantic when I was with them. Over the years none of the providers have let me down on my choice and all have come up with the goods including cash from the comparison sites.0
