Burgers, Sausages etc needed for fundraiser, where's best?

Hi everyone,
Was wondering whether you savvy lot could help me. I chair our schools PTA and we're holding a summer fete in 3 weeks time.
We're planning on holding a bbq, where is the cheapest place for burgers, sausages, rolls and condiments?
They need to be ok quality, and we're steering away from Value type brands.
We're charging £1 for a burger or hot dog, as we're keeping everything low cost at the fete.
Thanks in Advance
RG

We thought about this but in the quantities we need, it would be very time consuming, we're only a small team. We have so much to do already as the fete is a massive event.
Our Basic Food Hygiene certificated volunteer is also only available on the day itself, and serving to the public we have to be super careful.
Thanks for the reply though :)

sometimes tesco have a community budget and will give you £10 of stuff for free like bread rolls for schools and things like scout groups etc. Worth asking their community champion.

Yes, they said it's such a complicated process ordering food for schools now, that it's probably easier to source our own.
They have to track all sources, inspect the vehicle and driver and complete lot's of paperwork, unbelievable but true

Co-op Food stores might also give you something if you ask them.

For our school fete we always do hot dogs. We use the tinned ones because there's no issue with temperature control and because we get such a rush all at once (after the kids' performance ends) it'd be physically impossible to cook 'real' sausages in our limited space. Using tinned ones means we can warm loads at once on a portable gas cooker and, because the tinned sausages are already cooked, there's no issues with temperature monitoring etc. The sausages are Asda's own make, about 50p for 8 and we use them because there doesn't seem to be any mechanically recovered meat in them. We use Asda tom ketchup which comes in a squirty bottle, it's much easier and safer than traditional glass bottles. and Asda or Aldi do their own versions of American mustard which seems popular. Onions are fried beforehand and reheated in hot water. You'll probably find that you need more ketchup and onions than you'd imagine. Rolls are also from Asda.
We sell our hotdogs for 50p and they're very, very popular and we make a good profit on them for school funds
No experience with burgers though as we steer clear of uncooked meat.
I know I might sound like an advert for Asda but I've no connection to them they're just the closest supermarket for us and I guess any other supermarkets would have similar stuff at a similar price. We did check out Makro for catering size stuff but it turned out to be more expensive. And Asda deliver also;)

The committee decided against tinned hot dogs although at my last school we used them, with great profit as you pointed out. We are lucky that we have a professional chef cooking the BBQ and a temperature probe, it's a 4 hour event with no performances from pupils of the school so hopefully no rush, my old school always sold burgers as they are pretty profitable.
I hadn't thought about Asda, as we don't have a local but they do deliver here, thanks for the advice.
Think the best deal I have found is for the Richmond Frozen Sausages at Tesco using the price drop vouchers makes each around 8.3p unless anyone can better that :)
