Apparently Avons skin so soft gets rid of pen on dolls. Haven't tried it but I have it on good authorityClearing the junk to travel light

I think Biro is quite oily so maybe try a dab of WD40?0

years ago we had a fake leather settee and pen came off that beautifully with dettol.
may be worth a try.0 -
Thanks for all the great replies.
I've tried nail varnish remover and WD40, but the pen still hasn't even faded.
I tried white spirit, but that made the plastic head go sort of tacky, melting the plastic i guess!:o
I haven't got any Avon skin-so-soft, so i'll have to ask around to see if i can borrow some.
Dettol had no effect either, but at least she's clean now!:D
I think i'm gonna have to take Midnightravens advice and e-mail the manufacturer to see what they can suggest, although considering all the things that you have suggested that i've tried, i can't imagine what else is left!
If i have any joy i'll let you know.
Thanks again for all the adviceIf marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed back out?:rotfl:0 -
Hi Cheeks
Have a look through this thread and see if any ideas there help you. That thread has a very strange solution! (oxy10?!):rotfl:
I'll add your thread to that one later
Good luck

Have you got any Astonish? I know it's meant for ovens and sinks, etc but I use it for everything, it gets hairdye and felt tip off skin (but not on sensitive skin
) Just use the tiniest bit on a damp cloth or old toothbrush and use in a circular motion

I have just been to the manufacturers website (zapf creations) and found this in the FAQ's:-
- Stains that have been caused by felt and/or ballpoint pens will not be
removable due to the constituents of the ink. It is possible to lighten the stain by using acetone-free nail polish remover, if necessary.
So it seems that Annabel is destined for a life with an ink-stained face.If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed back out?:rotfl:0 -
Oooh, more things to try! :j
Thanks for the link zippychick, sounds very weird but definitely worth a go! I'm off to the pharmacy to get some Oxy10!
I haven't got any astonish, but will get some if the Oxy10 idea doesn't work!
