Hi,
where are you traveling from?0 -
Depends on a couple of things;
If you have Tescoclubcard points then use Redspottedhanky as these point can be converted in travel vouchers.
If you use Quidco/cashback then South West Trains or First Transpennie Express.
If you have a Virgin Credit Card then buy from the Virgin Trains website for a 10% online discount.
If you're starting your journey on the Eastern side of the country ie Perterborough, York or Newcastle or London (if you don't mind a bit of a longer journey), then buy from East Coast as you'll get a 10% online discount off their Advance single tickets.
But the important thing is Not to buy from any third party vender ie trainline.com as they charge booking/card fees.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

You can only look up fares on that website, unfortunately you can't buy or view any website discounts/offers, but is useful for doing some research on available fares/ticket restrictions.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

Best way is either;
London Euston (direct) to Glasgow Central
London Kings Cross (direct) to Glasgow Central (not many trains direct)
London Kings Cross to Edinburgh then change to Glasgow Queen Street
Other ways (longer Journey time wise) but can work out cheaper spliting your journey up at either Manchester Pic or Birmingham New Street.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
Thankyou! The trainline charges a booking fee but seems to be the cheapest- I can get at train at 12pm for £7!Society always tramples down on those that are different. Abnormalities are smoothed over. I strive to be a wrinkle.0

Well worth checking megabus/megatrain. I went from Loughborough to London by train on Jubilee Monday for £1 + 50p b/fee :j0
