Extra Shelf for a Howdens Pull Out Larder?

Hi,

First post on MSE - but long time reader!

About a year ago we bought a new Howdens kitchen, and have decided that we'd like to get an extra shelf for the pull-out larder. (the interior of the carcass is 300mm).

We've lost touch with the joiner who put it in - does anyone have an idea of what is the most cost effective way to get an extra shelf, and how much we should expect to pay?

I went to my local depot to try to get a spare shelves and trays and they couldn't have been more unhelpful! They said they only stocked whole units. Useless. Should have gone to B&Q!

We had the same requirement only our 300mm larder unit was from Benchmarx and we spotted the requirement during installation. The fitter sourced us one but we had to bite the bullet as it cost £75!! No doubt i've been royally ripped off for what is just a wire cage but I went with that for ease. Anyway, a Howdens installer would seem to be the way to go.

I know this is an old post, but in case you didn't get resolution, Howdens do now sell additional shelves for their current pull out units. My local Howdens were Ok with setting up a temporary account to buy the basket, rather than having to go back to my fitter.
