I've got a business account with Santander. Do the Uk finance laws apply the same for business accounts as well as personal accounts?

"Finance laws" covers rather a lot! In which particular aspect are you interested?
Have you read the terms and conditions of the account which you do have with Santander?0 -
My understanding is that the FSCS only applies to personal customers. So when the Icelandic banks went bust councils etc did not have their deposits covered but what are defined as "small companies" may be covered. Google and the following comes up:
