Quickest train journey from Ashford to London?

We're travelling on a DaySave ticket to London on Thursday so can only travel after 10am. Can anyone recommend the fastest train time to London and which station. We're going to the Tower of London so whichever station is most convenient for that or for the river boat? There are some restrictions with the DaySave ticket so we can't go to London Waterloo or London Bridge I believe.

DaySave is only valid on Southern Trains - which only go from Ashford down to Eastbourne and Brighton - not London.

Ooops. Thank you for pointing that out! In that case, what is the cheapest way to get from Ashford to London?

There is also an Ashford in Middlesex (near Heathrow) as well as the one in Kent.

If you go to the National Rail Journey Planner it will by default show you the quickest trains and the fares for them.

If you are going to use public transport IN London, a one day travelcard would be your best bet. Covers your journey from Ashford plus trains tube buses etc in London

A valid train ticket or a valid Travelcard entitles you to the offers on https://www.2for1entry.co.uk which include places like The Tower of London
