Blackberry in-car charger

sorry wasnt 100% certain which board to post this on?

I'm trying to get a car charger for my Blackberry but have tried two now and neither work saying you have plugged this device into an insufficient power supply.
I have tried them on three very different cars but no joy.

Can anyone possibly recommend one that might work for me..?

a million thanks in advance

Get a genuine charger not a 99p special from ebay, Or a 99p special sold for £3.99+ at some places.

My phone draws a lot of power and if you use it in the car with a cheap charger you can still run the battery down and put zero charge into it.
The genuine charger puts out at least 200mA more power.

Have you checked the cars power socket also? And maybe the battery voltage? Just to be sure its the charger and not the car.

I had this happen to me even when I used a Blackberry charging cradle so I downloaded this http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/2860/?lang=en It tells you when charging has started and finished and you can set a warning when you need to recharge.

    And it's free!!
