Transferring shares from III to HL
cashbackproblems
So i read the thread yesterday and found out about this new management fee of £80 which is too much for me as i hold 15k worth shares long term and dont trade
I already have a vantage isa with HL so am thinking of transferring to them as they dont charge to do so. However some shares i hold in an III ISA account and some in a trading account (due to them being AIM shares), so can i transfer both? Cant seem to find anything on their website about non isa'able shares?
My current vantage ISA with HL only holds funds.
Thanks

You'll pay £45 to HL (0.5% capped at £45) for the shares in the HL ISA.
You can hold the AIM shares outside the ISA in their Fund and Share account, which doesn't have the 0.5% charge.0 -
HL often send out offers to transfer holdings from elsewhere into HL either for free or to get a bonus from them. Looking at their website just now shows - If you hold share certificates you can transfer these into your Vantage Fund & Share Account at any time free of charge. Alternatively, you may hold shares with another broker. If this is the case then you can transfer these holdings into your Hargreaves Lansdown account as stock and we won't charge you anything to do this. Some brokers may levy an exit fee so be sure to check first.
