Check your home shopping bills

Options
If you have your food shopping delivered then please see the post below which because I'm cross and feeling lazy, am simply reposting from the grocery board.

I just popped on to say that if you have your food shopping delivered with Mr T or any other supermarket for that matter, CHECK YOUR BILLS!

Mr T turned up 1 hour and 20 mins late today - grumble grumble (had all my shopping apart from a minor sub of my weight watcher meals) so wasn't going to complain even though they sent stale tiger bread (minor grumble) BUT I have complained now after discovering that of the two packs of steak I ordered, one they have overcharged me ! price on pack - £5.24 - price charged £8.52 :mad::mad: Have just sent an e-mail with accompanying picture. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This is the second time they have done this to me. How many of us have been overcharged in this way and haven't notice ??? :(

Just give them a ring - I use Tesco home delivery quite a lot and they have always refunded me without question.

Yes, I agree with the last poster. Just give them a ring and they will sort it for you straight away.

If the phone number on your bill is an 08 number then search for the "real" one on say no to 0870 website.

You two really are missing the point, aren't you?

The OP didn't ask for advice on how to deal with the situation.

He was warning people that their bills might be incorrect.

I would hope anyone with any sense would check their bills anyway.

I always check my bills but unless I am buying a particularly expensive joint, it has never occurred to me to compare the price on the actual meat packaging with what is on my receipt.

It is something I will consider now. In Tesco's favour though, I have always found them quite good when I have had descrepancies. If the OP phones up I am sure they will refund the difference without any arguement. The last time I had something missing they refunded my delivery cost too.
