It's a cruel fact that the less you need other people, the more they want to spend time with you.

Have you gone to your GP?

Do you get any exercise and how well do you eat?

Exercise, fresh air and a reasonable diet (nothing fancy, just some carbs, some protein and some fruit/veg) all improve memory and vitality. You'll be more interesting because you'll feel more interesting if that makes sense.

To be around people find a common interest: think about what you enjoy doing and just do it. The choice is endless, from library book clubs, walking dogs from a local animal rescue, volunteering somewhere, joining classes or a gym, rambling group, social group, the list is endless.

I think you need to get yourself down the doctors and have a discussion about depression and how you feel. Sometimes just getting it out in person can be a relief. Have you got any friends or family you could talk too? X

you need to tell your GP this hun. exactly as you have said it to us! it may be depression, it may be stress or it may be something else - but you need to see the GP!

We all have some of these feelings from time to time so don't feel you're alone. But it sounds like you're having them consistently and could really do with some medical support as the others have already said. Please go and see your GP and if you don't get any help there, see another GP.

The advice to do some exercise is really good as well, it can make a huge difference to your spirits.

And keep posting if it helps.
