Which are the best hotel booking websites?

I run the hotels comparison website
http://www.hotelScomparison.com
I compare prices from 16 different hotel booking companies.
I am looking to add a few more good value hotel websites into my search results.
In addition to the 16 I cover I will be bringing on laterooms and wintersunshineholidays in the next month or so.
Can any of you travel saving gurus recommend any other sites that are competetive and have a good supply of hotels.

https://www.tripadvisor.com is a great resource0

I've used www.activehotels.com and they seem pretty good.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0

I've used www.wotif.com for bookings in Australia, Far East and UK and they were excellent. Accurate and reliable information is just as important as price. I'm always looking for 'value for money' rather than the cheapest available.0

Hi,
We have recently used Venere.com and found them to be extremely competitive, their customer service was pretty good to, I would definately use them again.
Hope this helps!0 -
https://www.wintersunshineholidays.co.uk........ please..............0

I've used activehotels and their service was shocking.
Edited to add why...
Made booking, got reservation - on turning up no reservation appaerntly made with hotel.
Hotel didn't care, but neither did activehotels!!! Both asked what I wanted them to do....thought that might have been obvious in the situation - hotel wasn't fully booked!!!0 -
We used hotels.com and they were shocking. Although their rates are good, you get shoved into little poky rooms. I'd rather deal directly with the hotels than an outfit like this. Our friend paid them £90 per night for a single room that was no bigger than a cupboard.0
