    Yep, the B.P.A. A metaphor for a business which bases itself on impersonation of authority.

    They are an impersonation of a regulatory body. They have absolutely no foundation in law, but pretend to set standards and regulate the industry. They fool quite a few people, including DVLA and even H.M. Government.

    Why have they given out my name and address to a company running a money making scheme???

    ......not happy with the DVLA!

    if I rang and asked them would they just give out details of anyone?

    It is a very common complaint. Unfortunately, since DVLA gets a substantial income selling these details to parking companies, that consideration appears to be paramount for them.

    Yes, DVLA will for a fee give any keeper's details to anyone who shows reasonable cause for wanting them.

    The law says 'reasonable cause.' The DVLA have read this to mean 'any reason'.
