I have been called up for this interview and am really getting panicked. Does anyone know what happens ? I developed epilepsy a few months ago. I was supposed to go for the interview last week, but the stress of going made me have a seizure, my son rang them to tell them what had happened and they then asked if they could speak to me ! ummm I cannot communicate when I have a fit ohh I am really stressed ....

Is this a WFI.. work focussed interview.. for those placed in WRAG? If so then you may well find it a fairly informal experience unless unlucky. The idea of the WFIs is to explore how a return to work may be engineered in future... they won't place and demands upon you like seeking work or taking jobs. Sometimes they can arrange for these 'interviews' to take place over the phone if you have a good case for not being able to attend jobcentre in person. My advice.. try not to worry too much.. they're actually one of the few things people tend not to complain about regarding ESA.. and I think you'll only have 6.. get them out of the way and then they're done."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0

oh thanks for that Muttley, I dint know that they can do this over the phone ! that would be a big help for me as I have severe arthritis as well, so do I just call them and ask for the phone interview?
Just saw that 6 interviews ? over what period of time would you know ?

I'd definitely try... call them up and explain the problems of last time you attempted to attend and your other problems and see what they say. I'm not sure if they'll request medical evidence to support your claim of difficulty to attend in person and hopefully they'll be able to advise. There is also a possibility they could be held at your home."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0
