Vanquis Credit Card PPI

I have submitted 3 PPI reclaims, and had my first response today from Vanquis. They have (obviously) refused to pay back, claiming that they "do not offer Payment Protection Insurance against any of our credit card products. We do however offer a Repayment Option Plan".

As far as I am concerned, you can call a spade a shovel, but it's still the same thing.

I am a nurse, and have always had the 6 months full pay/6 months half pay etc, so shouldn't have taken these PPI products (or whatever Vanquis want to call it), and am worried about the wording I am maybe using in my applications.

Any advice would be welcome in the next step I should take.

Thanks you for reading!

    Hi

I would write back and tell them you will appreciate they review your complaint and also make it clear that despite the name of the cover, you want to make a reclaim (give your reasons) of the Repayment Option Plan (that you were not given an option on taking it on in the first place).

Sometimes a final decision can be overturned if you can send further information.

Give it another go, good luck.;)
