Hi,
Im not sure if anyone else does this but when me or the OH mention it everyone says 'what a great idea, never thought of that'
Now we have a 2yo and 7yo with limited attention span ( nothing new there ) and nighttimes can get a bit dull once you had tea or been out for the day, but dont fancy the noisy clubhouse ( also applies during day if its just raining! )
Take your freeview box with you! even better if you have one of the recording freeview boxes take that. Rather than just being lumbered with 4/5 channel you have 50/60 to choose from. If you have a recording type then build up some programs the kids would like ( also something you promise for yourself but never get time to watch, or maybe snuggle up type movies )
Everyones happy. Kids dont pester you with Im bored etc. Costs nothing....
But make sure you get some fresh air, see the sights in between.
