Car insurance company no claimsd

Hi all, I'm 19 and looking to get my first car, my dad has said it would be ok to put his name on the insurance as first driver so long as I pay for the insurance, my only problem is that my dad has had company cars for the last approx 12 years, he's never had an accident nor have his company had to make a claim. Before that he owned a number of other cars and as far as I'm aware he's not made a claim since our car was broken into approx 15 years away. Does anyone know of any companies that will take these years of company insurance into account and provide a no-claims discount? I read Martin's post about insurance and he said some companies will do this.
Any help is kindly received

p.s. I don't yet have a car but am looking, trying to compare insurance with cost of vehicle to find the cheapest combination.

If you are the main driver then putting your father on as such is fraudAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

If the car is yours it needs to be insured in your name or it is fraud. By all means put your dad on as a named driver.
If you insure it under your dads name, yuor policy can be voided for "fronting" which is fraudBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
OK ok, I get the point, thanks to you both, then I guess I should change my question, does anyone know where I can get cheap car insurance...of course this will make my details more difficult. I've not yet passed my test (which is why the insurance was going to be in my father's name) and want to learn in my own car as it will be cheaper in the long run (since I will be wanting a car after I pass anyway and it's likely less lessons will be required if I drive with my father outside of lesson time). Does anyone know any companies that are good for this type of insurance?
Thanks again0
