Barclay Card Travel Insurance

Hi,
I know this is probably a lost cause but I would appreciate any advice on my problem.
I booked a hotel room for this weekend for 4 days. On thursday night I put my back out and am now stuck in bed and can hardly move.
Does anyone know whether the cost of the room would be refunded by my Barclay Card travel insurance? If so what evidence would I need to support my claim?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling

What do you mean by travel insurance?
Do you mean that Barclaycard has a separate travel insurance - if so read the terms and conditions for claiming OR do you mean S75 cover under the CCA?
The latter is a no no - the hotel rooms are there for you not the credit card's fault you can't go.0 -
You can make a claim under your travel insurance but without evidence such as a doctors report you wont have a strong case. Remember there will be an excess, normally fifty quid, so balance that against any claim.0

Thanks for the help, its complimentary travel insurance provided as part of the card but their website isn't working properly at the moment so I can see the T&C.
I think as mentioned that without a doctors note I don't really have a case. I was advised by NHS direct to use pain killers at home and to only go to the doctors/A&E if it became much worse suddently.
Just one of those things I surpose.I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling0 -
Did you inform the hotel that you could not take up the booking, sometimes depending who they are, they will at least make a partial refund, or offer a change of dates, if you just ignored the booking then not sure.0
