I would suggest you seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser. You have options such as Executive PHI where the premiums are paid by the firm and may be treated as a trading expense for tax purposes.
In the event of a claim, the benefits are paid to the firm to enable it to continue to pay your remuneration, so there's no tax-free payment, like there is with individual PHI.
You need to balance the costs versus the potential benefits and an IFA would be the best option to do that with you.

If you have, or plan to take life cover, you should also use an IFA and look at "relevant life policies" to potentially reduce the cost of your cover.I am a mortgage broker.
