Ah fair enough ..
Well, i had a Sony laptop which had built-in fingerprint scanner but defeating the purpose as you could override it with your password anyway!! lol I think they only put it on to sell the base unit i believe ...
FaizHmm I've not had a huge amount of experience with them so can't really say.
I did study the technology at university, but my only experience was using my old IMB laptop which had a biometric scanner for logging in. To be honest I found it more of a convenience than additional security. Actually I say convenience loosely as it didn't always work first (or by the third) time.
I'm very much into technology though so remembering long password doesn't bother me too much. For the average joe, they usually set weak passwords and never change them. In such a case a biometric scanner may be preferable. As I mentioned though I don't have a huge amount of experience with them, especially in terms of them being secure/unbreakable.0 -

How would you feel about a Fingerprint Identification biometric drive (1GB or 2GB)?
Collecting opinions and views of flash drive users?? Advertising going on here - not big or clever and certainly against the site rules. Definitely NO coincidence that you just happen to have listed on a certain auction site today, is it? :mad:I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -

Okay, now it makes sense, I was wondering what the point of the OP was. Normally the kind of "other people's experiences" question would be associated with a "what products would you recommend" kind of question but that was missing from here but now the OP's motivations are a bit clearer."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
