    Ah fair enough .. :) Well, i had a Sony laptop which had built-in fingerprint scanner but defeating the purpose as you could override it with your password anyway!! lol I think they only put it on to sell the base unit i believe ...

    Okay, now it makes sense, I was wondering what the point of the OP was. Normally the kind of "other people's experiences" question would be associated with a "what products would you recommend" kind of question but that was missing from here but now the OP's motivations are a bit clearer.
