Was planning to go to the pub today as haven't had a drink in a few weeks, but have stayed home and am currently 'investing' some of the beer money on the horse-racing on the telly.

Small stakes to keep me entertained through the day - stuck a tenner in the account so that's the most I can lose. Balance currently £20.13 after a couple of winners (and several glue-factory candidates).

Also, drinking diet pepsi, which I suppose is cheaper than beer.

Balance currently £19.00 which is all going on Camelot, the favourite in the Derby, so will finish the day either £20 up or £10 down. Either way it'll have kept me entertained (and out of the pub) for the afternoon so a cheap enough Saturday.

    Hi all
    Thanks LPP
I feel sick! hoping its wedding nerves and not a bug

Managed to get a bag today for wedding - not having a bouquet so have saved there probably

I have to make my cake still

Been cleaning today - the kids are bonkers and are stressing me out!

my mum has almost finished my dress and it looks great

Have had my nails done and got a free eyebrow wax - ouch

Fake tanned - cheaper than spray tan and healthier than sunbed I suppose

    ARGH

We have a winner - that's the betting finished for the day, with £20 profit for when I finally make it to the pub.:)

Good afternoon everyone. It is a lovely sunny day here today which is good as just had dd at her friends party which was outside. I walked to the party, which saved on petrol and never went to the shop on the way back a really cheap afternoon out.

My list for rest of today:
:)[STRIKE]Make a list of debts – who and how much[/STRIKE] Slightly worse that what I expected however if I meet the repayment targets that I have set I should have it all cleared within 85 weeks whilst still being able to treat the kids.
:)[STRIKE]Remember to take tablets[/STRIKE] They do not seem to be making any difference but I will continue with them, back to the doctors on Thursday.
:)[STRIKE]Dinner from stores[/STRIKE] Chicken Satay and Garlic Bread
    :)[STRIKE]Submit barcodes and receipts[/STRIKE]
:)[STRIKE]Phone brother regarding dd’s birthday party[/STRIKE] Left message as no answer will try again tomorrow
:)Sort some stuff to list on ebay and try to list 10 items Some items placed aside will get some more work done on this tomorrow.
    :)[STRIKE]Make a to do list for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
:)[STRIKE]Have some quality time with the kids[/STRIKE]

I think that is everything that I need to do today, Hope everyone is having a good bank holiday weekend.

Today has been a productive day and also a fun day spent with the kids. I am now off to put my feet with a coffee and read some of my course work, which will give me a head start on my list for tomorrow :).
    Aiming to get Debt Free.
