Amex & ppi

Hi all, I have been looking at my amex gold card statement, I assume that hidden in it somewhere is a monthly PPI premium payment? unless they do not charge PPI? Does anyone have experiance with Amex on PPI?

If you have PPI it will show on your statement....simple!!
  • Thanks Stepanie, It does not show a PPI amount on the statement, as does one I have with Nat West credit card, on Nat West state it only started appearing last year. I have had big problems with Amex and in 2003 I sent them a cheque for 10k to clear it, it never appeared on my Nat West state in my personal account, amex said they did not get it, so canceled and sent another by recorded delivery, it was signed for but again not presented and no one could decipher the signature, so I ended up me paying off over 6 years, its a long story, but I would love to shaft Amex like they have shafted me.
By the way, I have a claim under way against Nat West for PPI, they owe me about 7k.Thanks for your reply.

Wow. See the way I'd see it, if you got to the point of having paid £7,000 in PPI than you have acknowledged it's there, what it was for and have had plenty of time to cancel it.
