Land register 'burdens' question - scotland

Hello

I have had an offer accepted on a house an we are in the process of going through all the paperwork.

a copy of the land certificate has been sent out and im wondering if anyone has any knowledge on the 'burdens' section.

Part of the burdens is this

'the proprietors of the plots shall not be entitled to keep more than two dogs or two cats and that only provided such dogs or cats shall ot prove a nuisance to any of the other proprietors of the plots'

i have two german shepherds (they hardly bark and are very friendly) and i sometimes home board for friends and family....so this burden has got me worried.

how is it enforced? who enforces it? is this something i should be concerned with?

thanks

ps the house was built in 2007

Ask your solicitor. It's what you're paying him for.

You're unlikely to find anyone on here with more experience than your solicitor. The only solicitors who seem to regularly post here specialise in E&W.

As is standard in many legal documents and agreements - "the masculine shall include the feminine, and vice versa"
