Quick insurance question

Sorry another insurance question
Is anyone with John Lewis - have you got experience of recent claims?
I'm aware that they changed from Greenbee to being underwritten by Axa last year and just wondered if the service level was still good?
I also have a quote from PetPlan (couple of £s between them) but the JL cover is a higher annual amount (£10k / year compared to £7k / year) etc so wondered if it was worth going with them instead.
TIA:)

I'd be tempted to stick with PP, as JL can withdraw the product like everyone else and are already showing signs of change with the new underwriter.
Is the £7k for a cat or dog? If a dog what size? PP do a £12k cover, the top cover of any insurer if you really want belt and braces!NOT a NEWBIE!

TBH my gut is PP as I've had a pet with a long standing medical condition in the past and they've always paid out without quibble but .... just making sure I'm doing the right thing!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I bet! its 12k plus 2k for physio so in a bad year you could claim 14k!
what size of dog? I imagine 7k enough, our dogs spinal at fiyzpatricks only 4.5k!NOT a NEWBIE!

So you got another Lab! I have read some of your other posts on getting another dog, where is he from?
I think spinals can be more depending on the aftercare, ours was caught very early and was home after 4 days. At the time there was another patient that 6 weeks later could only stand for 20 seconds! But that sort of stuff is rare!NOT a NEWBIE!

"It's" a she this time
- Maisie
Can't say too much about where she came from (nothing dodgy, just I have a lot of respect for her former owner & I know how hard it was to let her go)

She's at DMs this week as she was spayed on Tues & didn't want her in the house by herself while recovering .... it's very quiet without her!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Bless, blacks are the cleverest Labs. Good she has a nice home.
I'm not sure what we'll do when ours goes... he has fitted in so well with us I think no other Peke will match up. I can't seem to paste a photo...NOT a NEWBIE!

You need to upload them to a photo hosting site (Photobucket or similar) and then copy the Direct Link Code.
Go to your post, choose the pic icon (looks like a yellow envelope with a stamp & mountains on!) and paste in the code...
The link I gave was to another thread in MSE where I'd already uploaded the pic to which is why that worked. HTH (I think you can also link to other places but not quite sure how to do it that way!)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
