Mercedes vito starting problems
Hello all
Anybody out there that can help?
I have a 2005 vito 111 and when I put the key in the ignition nothing happens, I keep trying for ten or so minutes and it decides to work when it wanst. It doesnt happen all the time though just every couple of months!!!
Getting a bit anoying now , any thoughts?

Do the ignition lights come on, but the starter not operate? I had a similar problem on a Passat, which would do the same. Sounds like the ignition switch. I solved it by buying a push button starter and rewiring it, so the car would start after the key was turned to activate the circuit.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
