I just want ONE kitchen cabinet door!!

I am updating the kitchen in my new house, which has included new worktops, painting the cabinet doors, new sink etc. The cabinets are fine, although looked old-fashioned and grubby so we just painted the doors, but we need to replace one of the doors. It goes under a butler-style sink so it's not a standard size, but I'm having such a headache trying to find somewhere that will sell me ONE door without charging me a fortune!! It's a pretty traditional style, lots of companies call it 'canterbury', with a cathedral-style arch in the top of the frame. Can anyone recommend a good company??

Thanks in anticipation!

Doors just seem expensive I'm afraid, try diy-kitchens or b&q - I know you can source doors from them or perhaps a howdens near you would sell you a single door if you can convince them to drop their trade only malarky for a single item.

    hi kat'
I thin the doors size you are looking for is either 450 or 490 in height and 596 wide.
is the door made from solid wood or does is have a foil wrapped face?

B and Q sell single doors - I've bought a couple recently - but don't know if they would have the size you want. I couldn't get a match for the doors I needed to replace so got something completely different to contrast rather than getting something that would be a poor match.

Or google canterbury doors http://www.kitchendoorworkshop.co.uk/price_group_1.html came up as one example. Measure the gap, try B&Q, wickes, if you're going to paint it anyway.

You missed the point that MFI's doors are 720 high and their belfast sink was 318mm .
Therefore the door underneath would be 395mm high and not the standard size you suggested.

No i knew what you getting at hence the fingers crossed she dont have an mfi one....as 98% of other belfast/farmhouse sinks come in standard depths

Thanks for all your suggestions, (cat has chewed through phone cable so no internet, hence I've not been back to respond!). It's an Ikea sink so very awkward and not standard at all. 796 wide would you believe. But I think I have found somewhere that's not going to be too bank-breaking. Thanks again everyone :-)
