Anyway to change all items at once?

Hi all...
Is there anyway to change all of the Ebay items I have listed at once - I want to add insurance in my postal details - at no cost to the customer.. just wondered if I will have to go into each one individually or is there a secret way??;)
Thanks all in advance...

  • Nope. You will have to revise each item individually.

If you use Selling Manager / SM Pro you can add to all listings by selecting the listings in 'Active' & clicking the 'Edit' button at the bottom of the page & select add to description

There are several ways of modifying listing provided they don't have any bids:

The industrial approach - download the listings you want to change with eBay's Turbolister, change them, then upload them. Just don't try and download more than 1500 listings in one session - Turbolister can't handle it. If you have a large number of changes to make, suggest you can use grep (or whatever text edit you are comfortable with) to do multiple "search and replaces" on the data. This is handy when eBay changes some policy and you need to reword all your listing's terms and conditions, etc. to comply. Note: it's often a good idea to try altering just a few listing to check that you haven't made a mistake, or that Turbolister doesn't do something unintended.

Or as TKPeters mentioned use eBay's Selling Manager (it's free - sign up for it in MyeBay) to edit the open listings. You can append information to current listings that have bids and even modify some details.
