Hello all,
I have 2 cash payments to make today - £1000 into HSBC and £750 into Santander
I am not going to be able to get into branch before 4.30pm so was just wondering will they credit today or will it be on Wednesday ( due to the bank holidays)
Its been a while since I last paid money into HSBC via cash and struggling to get the terms and conditions pdf to load
I know Barclays has a cut off point for example but Halifax doesnt

I'm with Santander and my account shows the credit immediately. Usually have the text notification on my phone before I'm even out the door!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0

I know it's a bit late now - but as HSBC was after the cutoff point, could you have paid the whole amount of cash into Santander, and then completed an immediate FP back to HSBC?
Or is Santander's implementation of FP still lacking?0 -

Santander subscribe to the faster payment scheme and all payments will go through faster payments unless the recipient bank doesn't accept them.0
