Small Business

Hi,
I want to set up my own small business, as I'm tired of looking for work and not getting anywhere. However, being out of work I don't had etch capital to set up a business, nor will a bank lend me the money. Does anyone know of any small business grants that are offered to be people over the age of 25? Most things I've come across online seem to be aimed at 16-24 year olds.

How much are you trying to raise to get it started?0

Don't even start thinking about grants until you know what your business is going to be, what you wiull need money for and how much you need to raise.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

The business link website has a financing section, plus a search for grants/loans. It's an excellent site for anyone starting any type of business - covers record keeping, company structure, marketing, developing a business plan, tax/VAT.
However, generally there is very little in the way of grants for people setting up a business and even loans expect the person to be able to put something of their own money into the start up capital. A business person enjoy the rewards and are expected to take the risks if their business is unsuccessful - not others.
What does your business plan say you need and how much have you got to invest?0 -
Hello,
You don't always need lots of cash to begin a small business.
If you can provide a service you just need to advertise and start small.
