I have recieved a letter stating that the vehicle was parked in Kfc for 3 hours and on the letter there is photo evidence of the vehicle entering and leaving the carpark. With a time lapse print in the corner of the image.
Is this a sham im on to my third letter now? I have followed the advice on the forum so far !
Regards,
Jordan

Just keep ignoring. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I believed this was the case thanks for your advice !0

Yes, they just go through a pre-set routine of letters designed to scare you into paying. If you ignore them all they will simply go away. They cannot do much else if you think about it, because if there's no communication they have no way of knowing who the driver was.
Not that UKPC have ever done court anyway. Unlike some monumentally stupid companies they realise its a loser.0 -
After what i have read regarding this company. I was lead to beleive that this was infact the case.
Thing is my Mother had one a few months ago and paid it, when i was adament for her not to. I just wanted to voice a second opinion on the matter.
Although some of the things I've read that have been sent back to the company have made me giggle to say the least !
Thanks again.

Well, when they give up on you then you can go back to your mother and tell her never to pay another one.
They do rely on the older generation falling for their "impersonation of authority" as my friend Vax so rightly describes it. Luckily you younger folks are a bit more wise to scams...0 -
Surely this type of scaremongory must be illegal?
What if we where to send pictures of the companys cars and word them as a charge notice for being parked to long or illegally etc you reckon they would comply ?0 -
Often when they persist too long and too loud it pushes the envelope of breaking harassment laws... problem is not enough people will sue them, so they get away with it.0

If it's parked illegally or dangerously then you should be informing the police.0
