Fencing quotation ?!?

I just had a quote for fencing for my garden. Its 72 foot long and I need to get both sides done. No fencing at the moment so there is nothing to remove, just need fencing to be erected.
I got quoted around £1300 which includes godfathers, panels, gravel boards and fitting.
Can anyone tell me please if this is a good quotation or if they are trying to rip me off ?
thanks in advance.

Last week I took 4 days off to do my own fencing.
I had a couple of estimates and it was costly.
It was cheaper for me to lose 4 days work as an electrician, rather than get someone in
I had 57 metres of hedge to remove, and 50 metres of hedge to go in.
Total cost (including all wood and buying a cement mixer) is < £750. Excluding lost earnings.
Total 398 vertical 3ft slats, 5' posts and rails.baldly going on...0 -
If itd any help, we recently got 2 quotes to replace our fence and back gate, down one side of a 35 foot garden - they were £610 and £950 respectively (that was for about 5 1/2 panels and the gate). So even taking off the cost of the gate from ours, yours seems cheaper.
Oh - although I spose it does depend on the height - ours was a 7' fence height.0 -
The guy quoted 24 panels and quoted the same price regardless of height, though I think we'd go for 6'. I have some other people coming tomorrow to give some quotes so I guess I'll see. Hope the neighbours are generous tho and pitch in too !0
