Samsun SII stopped connecting to mobile internet

I hope someone can help, I have had a Galaxy SII for a few weeks now, set it up, all was fine, then in the last couple of weeks for some reason I cannot connect to mobile internet at all, the only place I can view the internet is at home when it searches and finds my home broadband, can anyone help?

your not on orange are you ,if you are get the phone to logon to orange-t-mobile ,if not the try below or try below

go to mobile networks and make sure "use packet data" is ticked ,and if your on T-mobile or Orange have Data roaming ticked too
and in network mode below that ,it should have GSM/WCDMA(Auto mode)

or in the notification bar accross to top off the screen ,pull it down ,you might have a button that says mobile data make sure it highlighted or turned on in green

and a reboot some times helps too

With the screen on, press and hold the power button (as if you were going to switch the phone off). What does it say under 'Data network mode'? If that is 'Data network mode deactivated' then press that and activate it.

One of the problems I have with Android smartphones is that there are multiple ways to do the same thing or nearly the same thing.

Thanks guys, banger, yes I am on orange, my phone tells me that it is connected to the network, the network mode is set as GSM/WCDMA(Auto mode), the data bar from pulling down at the top of the screen is highlighted green, I haven't ticked the data roaming thing though as it tells me there can be significant charges for this?, I have checked this box to try but I still cannot connect to the internet outside my home

SandLake when I do that it says data network mode activated, but I still am unable to connect to the internet outside my home.

do not worry about about data roaming in the uk ,it will only use orange or t-mobile ,same net work know, no extra charge,
it will show up has
orange
orange-T-mobile ,when roaming

i know there a problem with orange in my area with the data,so you might be having the same in your area ,so give t-mobile a try,it will show has
