How do I block notifications from Facebook friends who are constantly posting????

I don't want to remove these few friends from my Facebook.. I just want to stop seeing hundreds of notifications from them every day. I am missing out from seeng what my other friends & family are doing. I am starting to not use Fb, as all I get is constant notifications from them. I worked out how to unsubscribe so they don't appear on my newsfeed.... Just need to know how to do the notication bit..

Can you explain in simple terms what page I need to go on (like click on word x which is top left corner ...) and what to set it at?

When you hover over the post the will be an arrow appear on the right hand side. You can block all their feeds from here.

That was one of the problems I had with F B.

Closed my account now.

If there are certain people you want to see updates from, add them to a list. The list will then show up in the side bar along with groups and from there you can see all posts from people in that list.
