For three months at least, many people get the next ESA50 around the time they get their back pay for winning their appeal.

The disability premium referred to above will be the enhanced disability premium (on the DWP breakdown in letters they seem to call it the Disability Income Guarantee or similar) automatically added if you are getting income related ESA. If you live alone it might be worth investigating severe disability premium which can be qualified for by DLA MRC or DLA HRC or Support Group ESA.

Make sure that you get hold of the details of how you qualified for Support Group. As per the previous comment you'll get reassessed at some point and it would be useful to know how you currently qualify according to the appeals tribunal (assuming the Support Gp decision wasn't a DWP reconsideration). I would think the tribunal will send out a physical decision slip fairly quickly.

My partner had his decision re-considered and was placed in the support group, it wasn't won by appeal, just re-considered. He was previously on IB since 2002 and was migrated onto ESA.

He receives £336 a fortnight, I'm his adult dependant. He was migrated on April 12th this year to contribution based ESA originally into the WRAG, his contribution based was till November coming, does he get the EDP now he's been placed into the support group? Or is he not entitled because he's contribution based? Many thanks.
