Yes, it is quite possible that if I accept that view and knowing that I have a degenerative condition that will eventually kill me, there must be 1,000's of other 'disabled, sick and ill' that could also improve their lot by doing some work.

I could, on a part time basis, working from home, re-start my career which would be quite easy to do especially now with all of the electronic and digital systems that are in place, maybe I could get involved in painting & decorating. Who knows.

So in a way, yes, I believe that it is the right thing to use the 'carrot and the stick' as UC will be to get people out of their comfort zone and apply their abilities that they have left into something that can generate an income.

But there will be many that will try to find the slightest of an excuse why they shouldn't or can't!
