iii - new £20 quarterly charge explained

I have an ISA share account and a normal dealing account with iii. Got a bit of a shock when an email arrived this afternoon announcing the introduction of a quarterly charge of £20.
The email was not very clear so I have just come off the phone to iii and thought I would clarify the details.
1) First £20 quarterly charge will be debited on 1st July 2012.
2) This charge is the only charge payable for all accounts held under one user name, so both my ISA and trading account are covered by the one fee.
3) Fee payable in advance but can be fully offset by 2 x standard £10 trades. In other words buy and sell a share within the quarter to offset the quarterly fee.
That it really - an annoying extra thing to pay for / worry about but do a quick trade to offset it.

Yes - sorry about that. I added it to the ISA section where there appeared to be no connected thread and copied it to the main savings forum. Then noticed the big thread but no option to delete.
Hopefully the summary on my post will add some clarity.0
