I think EON has lost the plot!
Got a letter from EON about my gas, which I pay on fixed monthly direct debit saying I've built up a credit balance which they are going to refund but at the same time they "need" to increase my fixed monthly DD by £7 a month to "cover the amount of gas we think you're going to use over the next 12 months". Madness. I've not used all my credit (£67 worth) yet they're putting my payment up - do they have a crystal ball??? In fact we will be using less as there's only 3 of us in the house now.
Think I'll go back to paying quarterly for the gas I actually use as opposed to what they think I MIGHT use :rotfl:

Hi Nix
Payment arrangements are currently going through their annual reviews. At this review, any credit on the account of more than a fiver is automatically refunded.
At the same time, we review the arrangement based on the last 12 months usage and current prices. However, we'll be happy to look again if your circumstances have changed.
Less people in the property certainly qualifies as change of circumstance and I would recommend talking to us about this. Your payment arrangement can then be altered accordingly.
Hope this helps Nix. Give me a shout if I can help further as will be happy to do so.
