Advice on failed Casio watch please

Brief details:

Buy Casio G-shock watch 15th Feb '10 from Amazon for £91. Watch has two year warranty which expires 15th Feb '12.

21st May '12 watch stops working (roughly three months out of warranty). Sent to Casio for assessment. Repair price £53. No goodwill offered even though I rang up to see if they could help on the price. Best they could do was a possible discount on a new watch.

Amazon don't want to know and referred me to the manufacturer.

My argument is that the watch hasn't lasted a reasonable length of time for the price paid but neither Casio or Amazon or interested.

Where do I go from here and am I being reasonable?

2 years 3 months for a £91 product seems not unreasonable? Also I don't think £53 to repair is that unreasonable either. I suppose it depends on why the watch has stopped working.

What sort of discount are they offering?

I imagine they will just replace the movement, I very much doubt they will repair it.

I'm afraid Casio would be classed as cheap watch.
