Finding a Decent Driving Instructor
Hello
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes..
My friend's nearly 30 and after years of uhming and ahing she finally decided to bite the bullet and book some driving lessons. She got a recommendation from a work mate and booked her first lesson for today. However, the instructor phoned her this morning and told her she would be unable to teach her due to personal circumstances.
Obviously my friend's gutted, after finally plucking up the courage to get some lessons!
So...no-one else can recommend anyone who is still teaching, and she doesn't want to throw a dart to pick someone from the phone book/internet.
Has anyone got any ideas how to find a decent (preferably female) instructor in Manchester?? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks:)

Depends where abouts in Manchester she lives. One of my friends used Altrincham Driving School and they had a female instructor(I think she was called Sam) who was very good. The female instructor was based in Urmston.
Too be honest with driving instructors you are best off just paying for one lesson with someone local and deciding yourself whether you want to stay with them or find someone else. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thanks. It seems so hit and miss! She lives in near the centre so Altrincham is probably a bit far.0

My mum had a female driving instructor for one lesson. Mum said she was useless.
Its a personal thing also. You know how sometimes you meet someone and you click.
Then someone else says they cant stand them.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
