Stocks and Shares Isa

Hi guys,

i have quite a bit of money saved up that needs investing, i am new to stocks and shares.

I was thinking of using up my cash ISA allowance by opening up the Santander 3.50%, then using my Stocks and shares allowance by opening up the fidelity moneybuilder UK index. this will allow me to learn more about stocks and shares in the short term and then possibly start trading myself.

i also have an extra £75,000 that iwill look to put in a fixed rate bond for a year, the cahoot 3.6% looks the best at the minute.

Can people give me feed back on these choices.

thanks in advance
