Hello all!
I have been dashing around between sites at work today - roll on half term
- Meals from stores
- Had to nip to shop at 6am to get bread and milk but both were on offer.
- Checked online banking and made a note of current levels of debt and balances etc....not scary at all for first time in ages!:j
- I treated myself yesterday to £100 worth of clothes...I used the money from my First Direct switch over so really they cost me nada. I NEVER buy clothes for myself but I have recently dropped a clothes size (back to my old size 10!) and a lot of my clothes look too big and scruffy on me now. So, I went into our local outlet Gap and bought 11 things, most of which were in the the 40% sale, some were discounted more heavily and then ON TOP of that I got another 25% off so I saved massively - in fact, I got over £200 worth of clothes for £105 :T Also the first time in ages, maybe EVER that I tried stuff on and didn't feel like a big whale or that stuff just wasn't right - in fact, I am happy with my purchases!
- Having an evening at home with OH tonight, doesn't happen all that often so may go for a picnic with the pooches if the weather is nice, as DMS says, it's cheaper than a meal out!
- Making the most of the free tea in meetings today.
It's nearly Friday guys and gals.... :rotfl:Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000 -
Afternoon all
I have been off at badminton today
Non MSE thing - in cargo there was a hanging frame I have wanted since December. I told someone to get it for me for Xmas and then they sold out. Then it was my birthday 2 weeks ago and it was in stock. By the time my friend went in it was gone! I told myself if I ever saw it again I would buy it there and then. Popped in today to see it hanging there with 20% off! So I bought it. I did use my birthday money to take my family to the Cinema so I will count it as a birthday present from my Godmothers Money!
Today
Badminton
Savoury mince for dinner to use up veg
Washing
Homework - Hubby to print out DD's homework at work
DD2 to swimming - wash hair there
Quick pizza dinner for kids
Check my loan balance - over payment of £50 has come off so I know it works now!
Lunches to make for tomorrow inc jelly as my treat

This corset is a simple white underbust one to wear underneath a 1950's dress I've made from a Vintage Vogue pattern. I've managed to borrow some authentic 1950's petticoats and I want to take a couple of inches off my waist to give the right outline. Sadly it will be one of the only corsets I've made that won't actually be seen by anyone
That sounds fab (even if no one is going to see it!) I love the 50's outline.
Hmm. Maybe that's something for me to think about for our jubilee party. It was on my list ^^ today to decide what I'm wearing.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Hi all, haven't been on for a couple of days but have been keeping up the good work.
Have also been to the dentist today, got to have a tooth out,. But at least then the pain will go away!- all meals from stores.
- Checked bank accounts and moved some money around to cover shortfalls.
- DH and I both had the day off but didn't have lunch or coffee out like we would have in the past.

Good Evening All
Sunshine - Thanks for starting us off, great to hear you are feeling a lot brighter today.
Miserable day here weather wise, cold and damp, life is very quiet here, everything clean and tidy, no washing or ironing, struggling to find things to do, lol. Got home from work and found my mum sat in my house, so we spent a lovely afternoon and evening together and she'd bought me some shopping (kitchen rolls & air fresheners, last week it was soap powder, softener and toilet rolls) and I've just found a cheque for £100 she'd popped under the mantle clock - sneeky. Today's list
