I would write back to them and say that you have no knowledge of the debt and to provide a signed credit agreement.

update - got a letter today....
lots of waffle but the main bit is "We are currently unable to obtain a copy agreement as requested, therefore, our our file on this account has now been closed and you will receive no further correspondance from BCW Group in relation to the above account"
  • Recieved a letter out of the blue from Buchanan clarks and wells looking for £209 owed to new look. This debt is 16 years old, at the time i tried to pay in the shop on the card but it was not allowed and to this day i have never recieved a bill. The bill then was for about £45. What do I do?

avoid them and make a donation of the original £45 plus a fair price for interest to a reputable charity?

You owe them some money, its up to your conscience then

Send BCW a prove it letter I guess.

My DH has recently had a letter from them but with no details so we are currently ignoring it. If they send another letter, we will send them a prove it letter.
