I'm going on holiday in September and I am not going to have much money to take for my spends. I was planning on getting a new credit card with 0% on purchases to buy my euros before I go. However I'm not sure this would be covered as part of the 0% deal as it may he classed as a cash advance.
Anyone know of a card that would give me 0%, or a least the best deal on using a card to buy currency? Or a card that will be the cheapest to use when I'm abroad?
Thanks
Mat.

It would be a cash advance, there are a few exceptions to this when using the in house credit card to purchase in house fx . Think Post Office, M&S and Tesco offer deal currently (ie using M&S credit card @ m&s travel money etc)0

I know if you buy foreign currency on a Tesco Credit Card from Tesco Travel Money, there is no fees as it is classed as a purchase; therefore part of the 0% intro offer.0

Sounds like a good option.
