Umm, WOW Moneyspider. That's fantastic.
Glad you're still grounded about it though, as it would be easy to fall back in to old habits and let the luck go to your head. What were you playing - just out of nosiness!
Sounds like you're being sensible about it though, so massive :j:j:js!!
What did OH say? As I remember you saying he could be a bit possessive over your money. And did you have to fess up about it?
Ooooh and what are you going to do money wise now with any extra now there's no debts to pay? Sorry, have just asked a million questions there haven't I!
I had a £1 Facebook sale today(But also spent £8, but we'll shhh about that! Though got loads of Thomas the Tank Engine stuff, like LOADS!! Toys, books, DVDs... my son loves Thomas at the moment, but he sells pretty well too, so Mummy loves him at the mo too! Will obviously keep some for the kids but they really don't NEED any more, so will be selling a fair amount on too :T

Saw he was selling though. Shame in a way, but can't blame him really.

Ooh I forgot I used the £10 Arg0s voucher today that I got for free when I bought my washing machine from them a month or so ago, so I can add that now too.

Ridiculous amount of money.
If I could just have 5k or so just so I could see the back of these debts, that would be lovely.
Or even £87 would be fab at the moment
I do however have £52.13 to add, just from writing and sending a letter to HMRC about the uniform washing rebate. Sent the letter off a few weeks ago now and had almost forgotten about it. Only had the ink at the time to print 1 letter :rotfl:) so did my OHs one, so will do mine next week too
Now if only I could make myself write the PPI reclaim ones, we might be laughing.
But I think I'm putting it off to avoid disappointment, as I've still got hope in the back of my mind that we'll get a big chunk back, and I like that hope:rotfl:
But it's silly really, as if we do get it then :j, and if we don't then we're in the same situation as now anyway, it's not like it's going to make us any worse off so I need to stop being silly and just get on itHalf of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Thank you all for your kind words
The money has hit my account this morning :j
First and formost is to pay all debts and get overdraft taken off my account.
My car needs new brake disc's so that can now be booked in.
The rest im not in any rush to spend, theres not much i can think of that we NEED, plenty we want though, but im not rushing out on a spending spree
The house is looking a bit shabby and could do with a lick of paint, so i will spend some freshening things up a bit.
Monkey nut, it was a bingo Jackpoti spent £2 buying tickets and the actual tick that won was 10p
OH was initally, bit like Nat, worried when i told him, but he's really chuffed for me. He as also agreed its best to use it sensibly, which for him is good because he's a bit of a gadget man, but he hasn't hinted at anything
IN OTHER NEWS: great news about free listing!! i have a few bits to pop on later
Ive not read this weeks MSE news letter, but Congratulations to Martin on becoming a daddy! & a multimillionaire by the sounds of it!!
Also im off the starting blocks with ebay sales of £26.70 :T

Got a £3.39 refund for an ebay item today - i bought a knitted bag and it was awful - they didn't even use the same colour of wool for different bits so it was all patchy
so i claimed for a refund and got it
If she had been honest about it in the first place i would never have bought it so feel ok about claiming
I had intended to go car booting this morning but slept inwish they would do some that you don't have to get up at stupid o'clock for hahahaha!
Guess its going to be an ebay day! hmmmmmph lol

Packing and posting more Ebay parcels, and realised from my little spreadsheet page where I put things in to work out the actual profits, that I haven't added the ones I posted last week. So cheating a bit but that can go in this months challenge
Moneyspider, I love how you are still as enthusiastic about Ebay etc and the challenge in general despite that money!
Busy day today though, and got 4 more parcels to pack still, was aiming to do them before 9am! But the kids had other ideas!!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
