i've been reading the thread - (not finished it yet so sorry if the info is on the next page but i thought i copuld spend time reading or just dive right in!!!!!)

so on selling pages on Face book does anyone know of any good ones in the south Yorkshire area?

and how long do they normally take to accept your friend request so you can post?

also apart from 'NAME OF TOWN sell' what can you look for?

i know it's late but i'm going to aim for £10 a day for the rest of this month, and then £5 a day all next month.

it's really inspiring to read all of what you guys have done, and i will try to catch up this week...

Hi nimbo. Can't help with selling pages in your area but that's all I did was do a search for NAME OF PLACE selling like you said. They were pretty quick accepting my friend request too. Good luck x

Same here, set up my own selling page then advertised it on all the other selling grops in the area.

The admin watching the groups accepted my friend request within about 10 mins on all the sites.

i've been accepted on tow of them so far....

and have caught up with the thread - i felt bad posting before reading it all, but thought diving in would do my bank balance more good....

i have loads of hand made leather bags and jewellery listed on fb, and a few bits on MISI (lots of looks no hits there yet)...

however i have some signed photso of some of the lost cast - where would be the best place to list those?

Hi Guys Me again!! LOL

I haven't been around for a few days as i had a terrible migraine and managed to sleep from 8.30 ish on wednesday right through to about 5pm on friday with only a few wake ups to go to the loo, take more medication and drink juice.....thankfully i am now feeling much much better

I even managed to go to a boot sale today and came home with a lovely £207 :P

am not adding to my target for non posting this time as i was ill which means i'm pretty close to target!! delighted i have to say

£7 from Facebook sales

With regards to searching for local groups, it might be more difficult that you think actually. I'm a member of several local ones, can't remember how I first joined one, think a friend told me about it and I was able to search for it, then the rest were ones I saw advertised on the one I was with and it snowballed.
But, I set up a new Facebook account yesterday because I wanted to be able to sell a few bits that included some unwanted gifts, and didn't want to upset the person who gave them to me, so have just used a first name and 'Selling Page', which I have seen several people do anyway. But when I was searching for the groups that I am actually in myself, so I know they exist, I couldn't find the groups I was looking for

I type in the search of FB - Buy Sell Wanted and then the town or area I want to look for.

You will find some come up, others not, but click on the bit at the bottom where it says see more results and then work your way through them. You will find more groups hidden away.

I did the same thing for the same reason
