Went and bought a new carpet yesterday for our living room- totally on impulse! So need to add £87 back on to my £1k target- struggling as it is! £1k is a lot for us though and considering we weren't paying much debt off at all, how far we have come in the first month is good! Praying for a flw! Think I might but baby bundles together! Could try them on Facebook first if no flw. Just gotta find the time now as need to gut both living room and bedroom this weekend.

Oh we also ordered bedroom furniture (doh!) but this is on interest free for a year and we've gone a year with minimal furniture!

Ebay listings ended last night and I sold 2 items my share comes to £6.39 and I have received a My Survey payment of £5.

I also have two items that were bought by the same person last week. They only sold for 99p each (cross stitch patterns). The buyer still hasn't paid. I have sent an invoice and a reminder but have had no reply. How long should I wait before I can re-list the item?

Hi all, £24.10 from MS payments to report, should have a little boost at the end of the month from working extra hours but need to get a shift on in the meantime!

I have been decorating my bedroom all week. It was a horrid orange and brown wallpaper before (not my doing, the previous tenant must have been blind). The darn orange flowers in the wallpaper have taken FIVE coats of paint to get rid of. Really skint so had to pinch half used tubs of paint off friends. And got a curtain pole, curtains and light shade for free off of freegle which was nice.

Where did you buy your paint and gloss from?

Not much money making going on at the moment, im embarking on a mission to decorate the hall, well when i say hall i mean small patch at the top of the stairs!! and the stairs. Argh...I hate glossing and there are 6 doors to gloss!:eek:
:money:I did make some savings on buying the paint, it was already on offer 5 litres for the price of 2.5L, And also the gloss, but took my mum along and she used her pensioner discount card so saved another 10%
