    Hello all,

I was filling in the transfer form to move from iii to x-o when I came across the section regarding the existing ISA manager details and wondered what people have put in for the ISA manager address and telephone. I'd contact ii directly, but previously have had to wait for ages, so thought I'd ask here to save time.

I've looked on the iii site and can see a Glasgow and a London address but nowhere which states which is the proper one to use. And as for telephone numbers, I've found umpteen, but anyone have any idea on what the correct one to use would be.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Glasgow :)

For those still wondering about which address to send your transfer form to. I just received this from III

    Thank you for your message.
I am sorry you are leaving Interactive Investor. I can confirm that in order to transfer out we will require to receive your Transfer Form from the new provider into our Glasgow office by 31st July 2012 should you wish to receive no transfer costs.
Please contact your new provider to obtain paperwork to initiate this transfer, I can confirm that the first quarterly fee is due on 1st July 2012, therefore if you want to avoid this also then we will require the transfer form to be received from the new provider into our Glasgow Office by 30th June 2012.
Our address for them to send the form is:
    Transfers Department
    Interactive Investor
    2 West Regent Street
    Glasgow
    G2 1RW
I hope this helps, please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information

And here is the Address :)

I put the "wrong" London one on by mistake, but X-O were canny enough to send it to Glasgow (and very quick). My transfer has completed (except remaining divi's).

Anyone got any kind of confirmation after closing your iii account? I sent secure message to request closure (after transfer was complete) but heard absoluately nothing. I can no longer logged in my iii account (to check secure message) though - perhaps that serves as the confirmation of closure?

I get the feeling that everyone working in the transfers department at x-o probably knows ii's Glasgow address off-by-heart !! (in reply to Miller above ....)

  • In my last phone call to ii I was told that they had changed their procedures (....again ....) and that anyone transferring out would NOT need to close their ii account, it would be done automatically - but I'm going to check anyway!

It's nice when things work without intervention and helps build trust that the company knows what they are doing :). This whole saga with iii has been one of obfustication, contradition and confusion - hence why their inbox has bulged under the weight of enquiries. Strangely enough people like to know what is going on and when with certainty. A rushed change, badly implemented and badly communicated with the inevitable results.

(...and we now have an unclear situation with account closure)

    Apologies for mini-rant!

I'm in the process of transferring my ISA from ii to TD.

It seems ii have today taken a £20 quarterly fee out my ISA account which I explicity told them not to do. I was assured this would not happen.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I am having a night mare moving from iii to self trade.

Into 4th week and getting no where, iii wrote to self trade telling them I didn't have an isa.... Aaaahhh

Multiple calls and still not much confidence.

Self trade saying that iii are very busy at the moment and say that's what partly is holding up.

Anyone had a transfer out successfully yet?

I made a trade yesterday assuming this would come out of this quarters fee. Today they have charged me the £20 fee and given me £20 commission credit.
