The new limit is rubbish for avatars! I lost a load of my "posts", losing my latest status & dont like the way you cant "mark as read" like you could on the old site, & wasnt bothered, but now I have finally got round to adding an avatar, I wish the software had not changed.
My views are irrelevant - censorship is alive & well!

You can mark a forum read from the Forum Tools (at the top of each boards index)
You can mark all forums read from Quick Links above
The forum lets you use avatars 80x80
The old forum had the advantage of re-sizeing images for you but it actually displayed them at 65x65 (Have a look in the yabb archive)
Have pity for us poor Board Guides who have been restricted to 50x50 for some reason
