Uk version of eurocamp accessible by public transport?

Posting on behalf of a relative who wants to take his kids camping. He doesn't drive so it needs to be a pre-erected tent with all the basics which is easily accessible by public transport, partly for getting there but also so they can get out and about while there. The kids are 10 and 8 so won't be carrying huge amounts themselves.
He wants basic rather than luxury (kids preference) and definitely no yurts, tepees or any other versions thereof!
I did find another thread but it was more luxury/glamping and the kids want to rough it. Plus a lot of places seem to be in the middle of nowhere which is no good if you're carless.
Any suggestions? (Someone mentioned keycamp and canvas holidays, but when I went to the sites I couldn't see anything in the uk.)
Thank you.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Trevornick is very popular and has pre erected tents. Not seen them myself though so worth checking reviews.

I also just found if you put eurotent into google it comes up with sites, Perran Springs in Cornwall, Holiday Resort Unity in Brean, Overstrand in Norfolk and Dolbeare Park in Cornwall are on the first page of the search.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Not very well connected to public transport. Trains would go into Newquay, which is a branch line off the main line, at a top speed of about 15mph... then it's off the train and probably walk across town to the bus station, then catch a bus out to what is a field beyond a tiny village.Trevornick is very popular and has pre erected tents. I'd not want to get to Perran Springs by public transport. 4rse end of the line that is... a few stops further out than Trevornick. It's also inland by 2 miles - so a b4st4rd to do anything from there.I also just found if you put eurotent into google it comes up with sites, Perran Springs in Cornwall, Holiday Resort Unity in Brean, Overstrand in Norfolk and Dolbeare Park in Cornwall are on the first page of the search.0
